Education

2021-2025
Design Academy Eindhoven:
I am in the third year of my Bachelor's at DAE. I chose DAE because of its interdisciplinary approach which has allowed me to explore a wide variety of topics, techniques and materials.
2015-2021
International School Hilversum I completed the bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma (English and Dutch). Through being in an international school for the majority of my primary and all of my high school years, I thrive in an international environment and can navigate cultural differences comfortably

Work Experience:

Feb - Jun 2024
Internship, Van PlestikVanPlestik is a design studio which creates 3D-printed products exclusively using plastic waste. During my internship I was responsible for production and post production of products. I also designed products, potentially for their collection and testing new techniques and possibilities with the materials and printers. By the end of the internship I had designed a collection of 3 products created using the technique I developed where a pattern s printed in a flat sheet and then folded into 3D objects using localized heating.
May 2022
Assisted DAE Graduate with his graduation project With the guidance of Pepe Valenti, I polished large metal pieces to a mirror finish.
Nov 2020 - Jul 2021
Various part-time retail jobs
Sep 2017 – Jul 2021
Teaching Flute, Independent:
I’ve had one student for just over 3 years and for a short period I had two other students in between. This experience has allowed me to plan and to communicate well, I was also able to improve my own technique by applying my own lessons to my own playing.

Workshops / Events attended:

Annually 2019 - 2023
Dutch Design Week
I make sure to visit Dutch Design Week every year I can. It is an amazing source of inspiration and chance to meet incredible designers from around the netherlands and the world.
Sep - Oct 2022
Phygital Studio
I participated in a workshop given by Bastiaan de Nennie about 3D scanning objects and rendering on Blender. I had no prior experience with blender so it was a challenge but I learned a lot.
2 days June 2023
RAW COLOR
This workshop was a collaborative challenge to design and make abstract objects for our chosen product type (in our case appiances) based on a moodboard we made with textures, forms and colors we wanted to use.
